Money Matters

I have the feeling that we are going to have one of the best months for couponing and deals! In the background, we have all kinds of stuff happening in our lives and that is the reason that you must take care of yourself.  Go for a walk, read a book, make a wonderful meal, meditate, write down your thoughts, self reflect, create goals or redefine goals.  The month of May was fantastic and I cannot wait to see the wonderful things to come in June!

People were beyond mad about not getting the midweek/weekend Ibotta bonuses, they were expecting the monthly bonus to be just like the April bonus and when it wasn't, they went on social media and complained loudly about Ibotta. Today, I didn't get a Midweek bonus which means that I get to focus on other opportunities but I already know that the money is going to continue flow in from other rebate apps and settlements.

Saving money is a several prong approach of using several saving methods and several rebate apps.  For example, when a pound of ground beef or ground turkey is on sale for $3.77, you go and max out the offer. You don't wait until two weeks from now and you are completely out of ground beef and the stores are selling the same pound of ground beef for $8.99/$9.99.  Besides having a roof over your head, food is your next necessary expense.

Let's keep it a buck, if you don't have a car, you will find a way to get to work. We have to stop blaming others for our lack of insight into our lifestyle.  You have to love yourself FIRST and then everything else will eventually fall into place. I talk a lot about cleaning, organizing and donating because that how you invite in opportunities. Clutter and disorganization causes chaos and it causes you not to see opportunities because of the chaos...and this, goes back to loving yourself FIRST.

I loved saving $20 on my internet bill by using my AMEX card to pay it. I literally paid the bill in advance in $50 increments to get the $5 statement credit which I could do up to four times by like June 15th. I also loved the fact that we were able to help Stamp Out Hunger by donating food from our stockpile.

If you do not get credited for your Ralphs Cash Back, always reach out to Customer Service so that they have an opportunity to fix the problem.

I've received $5.50 from the A&W Root Beer settlement and $22.44 from the Fairlife settlement, $20.19 from CO51, $63.85 from Ibotta, $11.50 from Shopmium, $60.72 from Brand Club, $25 Amazon gc from SB, $25 Amazon gc from SK, $1.50 from Alexa...  I also received $9 credit from PayPal for using my debit card.

  1. Wifey and I don’t do much dairy, so we love deals for alternative products. We recently tried the free Meyenberg goat milk thanks to Social Nature and thought it was as smooth as can be!

I also picked up a bottle of Califia Complete at Target. With all the Circle discounts plus the Social Nature cashback it was a small moneymaker. I also got 2 Sturs, those were free thanks to Ibotta and Social Nature. And, finally, I paid $6.79 for a LiveMore smoothie since there was an Aisle offer for $5 back and it’s loaded with organic fruit. Not too shabby!
