Money Matters

Happy October!!!  At the beginning of September, for some odd reason, I kept expecting for the Baby Ruth bar offers to come back to Swagbucks because we had been getting for FREE and Money Maker for so long but of course, we always move on to more deals!

Request your funds from the rebate apps! Typically, on the last day of the month or the first day of the month, I cannot sit on my laurels admiring how many points I've accumulated, I've got to zero out my accounts (or close to it) and I take great pleasure of seeing gone and some how, in the new month, I will collect more points. Seriously, I get anxiety from seeing a lot points or money in my account because I worry "what if" the company goes bankrupt, freeze my account?

With everything that is going on with our economy, the high gas prices and inflation, we must be able to be agile and flexible with all that being said, I was totally caught off guard by the coupons.com app pulling the FREE Pillsbury ready to bake cookies offer because in the past, once you activated one of their offers, the offer was yours to claim for redemption or until the offer expired.  I almost lost out on that deal because I didn't run out and do the deal immediately.  The number one rule in couponing "Run" for any deal that you really, really want!

I am still kinda in disbelief that CVS stopped sending me the FREE $4 Extra Bucks, Sprouts stopped the Full Size Freebie and Ralphs did send me the coupon booklet with the FREE Tropicana Orange Juice like I really cannot complain about not getting paid for the Pillsbury ready to bake cookies.

I am being much more thoughtful in my purchases and taking advantage of food related freebies that I wouldn't have, in the past.

I received $22 from Ralphs Cash Back, $27.41 from BrandClub, $15.91 PayPal from Deva Curl Settlement, $50.99 via PayPal from the National Grid TCPA Settlement, $130,25 from Ibotta, $125 Target gc from Swagbucks, $25 Target gc from Mypoints, $25 Target gc from Fetch.

Below are my favorite deals for the month of September:

Fruit of the Loom Women's Bikini Panty 6+3 $0.48 each

$9.27 MM Air Wick Plugin Refills in Lavender Chamomile

$.50 Snacks at CVS

$1 MM Coca Cola Dreamworld soda

FREE 5x7 Photo Magnet
