ReplyDeleteNope. The F4L near me only had the Marinela (the last two) ones. Not even my local Hispanic grocery store (El Super) had any of them.
ReplyDeleteRalphs had both Marinela products - in the aisle with the weekly specials, they are like stand alone stands between produce and dairy. The Bimbo products, I absolutely could not find them at any store.

DeleteIt's normally to the left there are stand alone stands with weekly deals, some stores may have them in the back aisle in front of the dairy. It really depends on how large the Ralphs is as to where they put those stand alone stands.
ReplyDeleteMy Ralphs is a Marketplace store, it is very large, They have 6 self-checkout registers on one side of store and 6 more on other side. Last week we went to store around 3pm and there was an armed guard working plus a uniformed security guard- this store is in Redondo Beach so very scary to me they need an armed guard
ReplyDeleteAll of the stores in San Diego are called Market Place stores no matter how big or small they are. I am very luck in that I have 4 Ralphs that are less than 5 miles from me. The Mission Valley & Pt Loma stores are large stores and they each have 16 SCO's, 8 SCO's near each store entrance. I haven't seen any security guards at Ralphs but I have seen security at Food 4 Less but they are only there like on the weekends. There's also security guard at CVS that only there like on the weekends bc I don't see him during the work week.

DeleteI usually go first thing in the morning bc parking is an issue and I've got to stand in line for SCO after 10:30 a.m. If it's a big Money Maker or if it's FREE something that we really want or need, I will stand in line. Now, the Vons that's like a mile away always have a visible security guard 24/7/365 bc there's always someone trying steal in that store.
