Last Thursday, as I was working on the Vons/Albertsons post and I was looking at their Pick 4 or More promotion in the ad, I almost fell over when I saw that they had the Peet's Coffee on sale for $9.99, it's more than the Starbucks when they have it on sale for $7.99. I am sure that the increased pricing is due to the tariffs.
If you are a coffee drink drinker, maybe every paycheck, pick up coffee for your stockpile. If you don't drink coffee but you are a tea drinker, pick up the tea each paycheck.
Today, the Peet's coffee is on sale for $9.99 but who knows how much it will be when the holidays come?
I am especially thankfully, that back in June that Denise told us about the Seattle coffee deal. I was able to get the 6 bags of Seattle Best Coffee for $3.14!!!
Again, I do know how hard it is to work a job full time, take care of your family and do deals when you are dead tired. You have to pick and choose what deals to do because can't do all.
Do what you can and everything else will work itself out!
I am a huge fan of Costco's Single Origin which is $7.50/lb when in the warehouse. Morena just ran out of Guatemala and it is very, very good. Mexican Chiapas also good.
