They're wanting too much

When I was young and in my prime and working a 9-5 job, I always blew past all competition and I was able to max out of bonuses because that is how I was able to make more money.  If I was hired to do 100 backflips, I'd do 200 backflips and then go help my friend Katie in the next department but as I grew more seasoned and smarter, I realized that I wasn't getting paid what I was worth.

The thing that irritates me about the survey companies Flavor Wiki and Field Agent is that have high expectations for very little money in return.  For example, the Cheez-It Snap'd are $3.78 at Walmart and FW is offering $4.80...so you'll make like a $1.  Keep in mind that they do sometimes offer much higher amounts for jobs.

1. Both companies have very detailed instructions before and during the purchase of the product i.e., they want a picture taken of the product on the shelf in store.  I know Field Agent want to you take several in store pictures and you've got to upload the pictures before leaving the store plus, they ask very specific questions about the product location and a picture of the product tag at the store.

2. When you get home, you've got questions to answer, pictures and/or videos to take AND a survey!

Below is from Flavor Wiki and these people are not playing with you! They want to you to work for the food you bought:

Please go to a store and buy the product you see in the image below. During the survey, you will be asked to answer questions about your experience with the product, record a short video, and take some pictures.

The next set of questions will focus on your shopping experience. You can answer them while you are at the store or immediately after your visit. Please do not open the package and do not taste the product unless you are instructed to do so.

Please be sure to keep the receipt, as we will ask you to provide proof of purchase.

I have qualified for surveys but honestly, in my opinion, they are asking me to do too much for too little money. I am worth more than $4.80 and I'd estimate that from start to finish, it probably takes you 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get everything done.

Field Agent's process used to be very simple and then they added all these steps and they're now doing some kind of weird thing on how you get your money. I want to say that Field Agent used to be like four steps and you got your money quickly.

This is why you don't hear a lot of people on social media platforms talking about Field Agent or Flavor Wiki because the time and effort you put into it isn't worth it.  However, I do understand that a lot of people do like trying new products and if you have time on your hands...why not?  If my dad was still alive, he'd love both Flavor Wise and Field Agent because my dad was a foodie and he loved trying new foods.

This is just my take about the companies, if you have extra time on your hand why not try both them to see how you like them?
