Wow, Walgreens is closing 1,200 stores over the next three years. I want to say that it was this time, last year, that my neighborhood Walgreens closed down without notice. Remember when Walgreens was making all kinds of claims that it was the shoplifters that was causing their economic numbers to tank? A couple weeks ago, the CEO said that maybe because their stores keep so many items in anti-theft cases that it's caused people not to shop at Walgreens.
That's a lot of people that's going to be out of work.
