Kroger Krazy has posted the early preview of the Kroger Weekly ad for 10/25 - 10/31. The Mega Event of Buy 5 or more, Save $1 Mega Sale will continue on Wednesday.
The early preview of the Kroger ad gives the Kroger affiliated store shoppers an idea, if we should be buying something from the current ad or wait until the upcoming ad.
I see, in the preview, that Kroger will have the Oscar Mayer bacon 12-16oz on sale for $3.99 as part of the Weekly digital Deal. This is a great deal because we have the option of picking up the Oscar Mayer Thick Cut Bacon. You want to stock up now when the price is right. You don't want to be running and pay $10 for a pack of bacon when your mom and dad are visiting during Thanksgiving week.
If anyone is coming to stay with me for a week, during the holidays (or anytime for that matter), I plan out breakfast, lunch and dinner....because it's the cost of food that rises during loved ones visit. Whether eating at home or eating out.
Also, don't forget that Vons and Albertsons stores has the Oscar Mayer bacon 12 oz on sale with digital coupon for $2.82, limit 2.
Here is a wonderful recipe for bacon jam. I make it and freeze it to use on burgers and breakfast sandwiches. Also good in place of meat for Benedicts. Sweet and savory. Fantastic with arugula and good tomato to cut through the richness.
