I wish I had of known this when my brand new 20222 car was hit by a drunk driver because I would have definitely submitted a claim for the devaluation of my car because it had been in a nasty accident AND my insurance company should have caught the devaluation and added it to the claim since there was a police report from the beginning. Shout out to my neighbor who was out in the wee hours of the morning smoking cigarettes and saw my car hit and reported it to the police!
