First, let me say for my new readers that I live in San Diego, California and I live in the city, in the North Park neighborhood. I'm about 4 or 5 miles from downtown. I don't need to get on the freeway to go downtown, I have multiple ways to get downtown and the city buses run every 10 minutes, in my area, going downtown. I'd called my area midtown since we already have another neighborhood called midcity.
Anyways, North Park already has a Sprouts Market, it was the old Henry's Market. I used to live a lot closer to Henry's Market when I first moved to San Diego and I'd go there to get Vitamin B shots, I'd attend their classes and seminars on how to stay healthy and back in those days, North Park wasn't over built and there plenty of parking and you didn't have to circle around or nothing.
Fast forward to 2026 and the parking is atrocious. The city has made North Park a testbed of sorts to see how many people they can pack into a neighborhood by approving as many housing permits as humanly to bring down the price of housing in San Diego which means now when you go to the Sprouts, you can't find a parking spot.
While I am out and about running errands, I will shop at a Sprouts in other places like the Point Loma neighborhood. I am actually surprised that they aren't building a Sprouts in Mission Valley.
Anyways, they have the signs up that a new Sprouts is coming at 805 freeway & El Cajon Blvd. It's the park lot where Wells Fargo is located. As soon as, you come off the freeway, you make the right turn east and you'll see the Sprouts signs!!!
