I really did not need any groceries but since I had to make a return to Walmart but I need salt ($1.29) to season my pasta water so why not use the BOGO Kroger Brand Spice digital coupon to make a little deal! I also needed the red pepper falkes which was $1.59. Now,
Typically, a Buy One Get One (BOGO) coupon typically takes the discount off the lower-priced item. When the two items are different prices, the retailer will charge you full price for the more expensive item and deduct the cost of the cheaper one.
In the picture above, you'll see that the register took off the $1.59 for the Red Pepper Flakes but charged me a $1.29 for the Salt which means I basically paid $0.65 for each item.
I also grabbed a 2 pc salad server set which was $4.99, however, I was charged only $2.49 for the set. My Purchase History says I had coupon but I don't remember a kitchenware coupon but I'm glad I grabbed it!
