Perfume Gift Sets for Mother's Day!

 

I am sending mom fresh flowers for Mother's Day and it's the first time ever that I've done it. My mom has always been a frugal lady so she'd really prefer a house plant rather than fresh flowers but my mom can no longer fuss at us about spending too much money and I want her to have fresh flowers because I assume that she still can smell.  My mom has Alzheimer's and she has had it for many, many years and it was just last fall (2025) that she is no longer mobile, she no longer remembers how to walk and she doesn't remember how to talk for about 2 years but even before loosing her ability to talk, she'd forgotten us years ago...we assume that she thinks we're her siblings.

Anyways, this post is about saving money by buying perfume gift sets for Mother's Day at the Department Stores because you get a bigger bang for your buck!  The gift set shown above is from Dillards but I'm sure you that Macy's or any of the higher end department stores, the Donna Born in Roma 1 oz is regularly sold for $110 all day, every day and the Donna Born in Roma 3.4 oz is $180 all day, everyday. The Donna Born in Roma is staple in my perfume collection because it's perfect! It's sophisticated without being overpowering and you can where it daytime, nighttime, afternoon or anytime. You can wear it spring, summer, winter or fall.  It's a floral without smelling too much like old lady flowers.  I get lots of compliments when I wear the Donna Born in Roma.

I know that a lot of you will think $180 for a 3.4oz perfume is too much but honestly with life being short, it's worth every penny. I bought the $195 gift set for myself for Mother's Day which is pictured in the first picture.

You can break the set up and give the 3.4 oz to your mom with some chocolates and card...and keep the 1 oz for YOU.🤣

This is kinda in the designer luxury fragrance category but not really because if you can afford to buy Angel, Miss Dior or Flower Bomb, you definitely can afford Donna Born in Roma.
