The Update to Sprouts Rewards

When I first came to San Diego, there was a Henry's Farmer Market not far from where I lived (at the time, we didn't have Henry's in Sacramento) and it reminded me of like a hippy type of store because it was different than the conventional grocery store.  Henry's lean into more organic products, they used to honest to God, paper Newsletters written by real people with interesting stories and I remember as apart of the newsletter they had dates and times that you could come to the store for a Vitamin B Shot for like $10 and they had presentations about health related information from like an expert in the field.

I had never heard of Henry's nor Whole Foods until I moved to San Diego and it just so happen that my coworker was a multi-generational San Diegan and when I was looking for housing, in San Diego, she recommended that look in the neighborhoods of La Jolla or North Park.  Anyways, it turns out that Whole Foods owned Henry's and they sold Henry's to a private equity firm that turned Henry's into Sprouts.

Fast forward to 2025 and Sprouts decides to announce a Sprouts Rewards to be live October 8th.  Instead of Sprouts, hiring someone who has experience in running a rewards program, it appears that they did what most corporations do, nowadays, and did a nepo hire (nepotism) and had one of their programmers build a Sprouts Rewards table with pretty no interaction with the customers.

Sprouts has next to no social media presence, they don't bother to send out mailers to their customers and their rewards program kinda sucks.

Sprouts recently sent us an update to their rewards program, saying the following:

Walgreens: FREE+MM Clean Supplies (Online Deal)

I low key hate that I can't do this deal because my account does not have the $10 off $30 digital coupon! I have plenty of cleaning prod...
