I think, a few months ago probably around September, I mentioned that when I went to Andrew Carnegie Junior High School, in Orangevale, California, during the 7th and 8th grades and we'd walk to school. We would walk down Hazel Avenue to Madison Avenue and make a left and then walk a couple of miles to Illinois Avenue and we'd down this narrow neighborhood street that didn't have sidewalks so we'd walk in grass and most of the homes had hedges to protect the homeowners privacy as all the neighborhoods kids walked down the road to get to the junior high school. There was a particular home that had Pomegranate trees and the branches went over the hedges and all us kids would pick the Pomegranates and eat them on our walk back home and we'd stop somewhere and use a water hose to wash our hands before we got to our house! We only ate the Pomegranate off the trees between September and December.
