It looks like to me that Albertsons is getting ready to sell Vons and Pavilions because in the last couple of months, they've been treating Vons and Pavilions as a separate entity, a separate company. Up until recently, if there was a $2 Tide digital coupon at Vons, you didn't need to confirm that Albertsons and Pavilions had the same offer but do you absolutely have to now. It appears that within the last six months, Albertsons is no longer letting Ibotta include Vons on Ibotta rebate deals.
I typically only look at the Vons.com, I don't search Vons and then Albertsons and then look at Pavilions last. I may end up letting go of Vons/Albertons because it was a lot when I had to go Ibotta rebates between Vons and Albertsons but digital coupon, too...probably not.
Since I have both the Vons App and Albertsons App, I can clearly see by category that Albertsons has way more digital coupons than Vons.
Another thing to note is that I've used the Safeway app for many years because I am originally from Northern California and I still have family there and I visit on a fairly regular basis. I never had a problem using the Safeway app until my most recent visit to Sacramento (in Northern California), a month ago, when the Safeway app was giving me a horrendous time.
I have a weird feeling that Albertsons is going to sell Vons and Pavilions back to Safeway. Of course, I know nothing about the grocery business but there is definitely something weird going on.
Anyways, you are going to see, on Friday's posts, that some offers will be valid only at Albertsons, i.e., the Marie Callander frozen dinner digital coupon is only valid at Albertsons.
