Since all this business with Venezuela and if they run into Greenland, it's going to be on and popping and no one is going to sell anything to the US which means our currency, the dollar, will tank which will cause our banking system to collapse and the grocery stores will automatically raise their prices because it's going to cause a run on everything. I am hoping and praying that our government does not go into another country uninvited. Anyways, I was trying to figure out how much toilet paper do we need for a year and off the top of my head, I think we use about one roll of toilet paper per week so off the top of my dome, it's about 52 rolls of toilet paper per year. However, I did a quick google search and here's what AI I had to say about how long does toilet paper last for two people:
- Sheet Count: Bigger rolls (mega, jumbo) have more sheets and last longer.
- Ply (Thickness): Single-ply often means more sheets per wipe, while double-ply might be used more sparingly.
- Usage Habits: Folding vs. scrunching, number of sheets per use (averaging 7-9 sheets is common), and frequency of bathroom visits.
- Gender: Women often use more due to front/back wiping after urination, say some users on Quora.
- Health & Diet: Conditions like Crohn's disease can significantly increase usage.
- Non-Bathroom Uses: Wiping makeup, spills, or pets adds to consumption.
- How often are you home.
- Household Demographics: Children or women (due to menstruation/wiping for urination) might increase usage.
- Standard Rolls: 4 to 7 days (or even less if heavy users).
- Mega/Jumbo Rolls: Can last over a week, sometimes approaching 2-3 weeks for lighter users.
- High-Capacity Rolls (e.g., Charmin's 1,700-sheet): Marketed to last up to 30 days for two people.
