I just finished packing my bags for my trip to Sacramento on Friday and I checked on the weather again and the high was 46 degrees and as you see the low was 42 degrees. In Sacramento, we use our fireplaces, it's not for decoration. In the fall we get that cord or half cord of wood.
Rancho Cordova used to be just a suburb, a neighborhood, a community in Sacramento County but about 10 years ago, they became a city and it's now overbuilt like there's no tomorrow. I actually grew up in a neighborhood/community called Fair Oaks, which was basically considered the country just like Granite Bay and Folsom. What's funny is I will occasionally meet people from Sacramento and when I say what high school I graduated from, I'll get a raised eye brow. The governor and his family have a large home in Fair Oaks.
Anyways, I cannot wait to be back home on Friday to celebrate mom's birthday weekend!!!!
