Don't you dare donate at a store or business!😵

 

I read over the Christmas that companies like Kroger, Target, Vons, McDonald's, CVS, Starbucks, Taco Bell  and other companies that uses the credit card/debit card machines to solicit donations directly or the whole round up to a whole dollar scheme , it's basically a scam because what these companies do is deposit the money into their banks and they collect on the interest on the money that you donate. 

The company decides how your donation will be used.  For example, in the picture above, it says "Donate to help save homeless pets?" The wording is ambiguous which means that they can donate the money to their favorite senator or representative to "help".  The company can give the money to their own foundation which is ran by the CEO's sons, daughters and/or grandchildren (nepotism).

Also, keep in mind that the corporation also gets to claim a tax write-off for your donation but you cannot file a donation claim from donating to stores.

Our country is at a precipice of war and throwing away our constitution because we are giving and donating to billionaire companies that don't have a conscience.

If you want to give to an animal shelter, go buy the dog/cat food and give it directly to the shelter. We can no longer give blindly to make ourselves feel better. We have to give conscience intent because we work too hard to give away our money to greedy billionaire corporations!
