These companies in the US, keep hiring the most dumbest AI (artificial intelligence) to help human beings and they are failing miserably!
Last week, I posted about the $0.10 any Brand Tortilla Ibotta offer and I submitted my Walmart receipt and the Ibotta software, picked up the tortilla listed on my receipt so I assumed that my receipt would be approved right away. Wrong! Two hours later, when I check the status of the receipt, the AI said that they couldn't find anything on my receipt even though my receipt was quite clear and everything was legible.
I had to submit a Trouble Ticket and the humans approved the receipt almost immediately.
A few days later, there were New Old El Paso offers on Ibotta and I quickly requested to receive credit and the AI 'saw' the Old El Paso Tortillas and I was expecting to get credited right away. Wrong, again!
Another two hours passed, I check for status and I get a message that the AI could not see the word "tortilla" on my receipt and a second time within a week, I had to submit a Trouble Ticket.
Out of frustration, I asked why does Ibotta keep hiring the AI software that can't read? Why not beta test the software before un-leashing it on all of their customers? Why fire throngs of humans customer service representatives so that your customers to train the dumb AI? We don't get paid to train your artificial intelligence!
Last year, Carl's Jr. came out with their AI Drive-Thru and they paid all that money for it and it only speaks English and it still gets orders wrong and you have to wait to get to the drive-thru window to fix your order.
These companies have let other companies sell them a flawed bill of goods. The AI as it is, is meant for repetitious work not for people a zillion possibilities because human beings have a multitude of ways to say things - hamburger, cheese burger, bacon western, extra tomatoes, no mustard, etc.
Companies are firing employees by the thousands but they've got crappy AI that will disappoint them and their bottom line because they thought that AI is the second coming of Jesus.
