My Quick Trip to CVS for the cheap Cough Drops

OMG, this year, my allergy symptoms have been outrageous and I've been taking more medications than usual because I've developed not only the nosebleeds but I've also had a persistent cough!  Of course, my doctor says that the lining of my nose is dry and I have post-nasal drip which is causing the cough which can be caused by allergies or acid reflux.

Anyways, I had gotten a FREE $2 Extra Bucks on my receipt, last week, and I needed to use it by today. I looked at the Ibotta app because I remembered Tammy mentioning the CVS health products and lo and behold, there was a $4 CVS Health Throat, Tropical or Nasal Relief Ibotta offer!

The offer details doesn't specify a product count nor a flavor but I knew I need to scan the product's bar code to ensure that it is a participating product for the offer.  I ended up getting the CVS Health Nature Herb Cough Drops Menthol Cough Suppressant 60ct for $5.79 and it expires Feb. 2027.

I paid $3.39 because I had 2% Back in Extra Bucks on my account and I submitted for $4 Ibotta and even with the $0.42 tax, the cough drops ended up being free and a $0.19 money maker!!!

Even if you have no Extra Bucks and just submit for the $4 Ibotta, the cough drops 60 ct is $1.57 which you cannot get that price at Walmart.  The Equate cough drops 70ct are $2.48 or $0.03 per cough drop.

The CVS Health 60ct is $1.57 after the $4 Ibotta rebate making the cough drops $0.02 per cough drop which is the bigger bang for your buck!
