My trips to Vons, Albertsons & CVS

 

Yesterday afternoon, I posted the FREE+MM Herdez Salsa I think it was around 2:30 pm because I had was a half cup of coffee and still hadn't eaten any lunch as I had been working on the Vons/Albertsons and Ralphs posts.  Mr. Man is a chips & salsa fiend but with commuter traffic in effect, there was no way I going to the store yesterday for the salsa.  However, this morning, I was on my grind and my intuition told me to go to the Vons across the street for the $1 tear pad coupons and they were (as shown in the 2nd pic above).

I then headed to Albersons because on Wednesday, I gotten the Zip Code Advantage x 2 and everything that I wanted was on the shelf including the MM Herdez Salsa, the Money Maker Hidden Harvest Pancake Mix and the cheap items from the Zip Code Advantage!

I went to the regular register with a cashier and she scanned the four (4) $1 Herdez Salsa tear pad coupons and the coupons scanned flawlessly plus $8 came off on my receipt for the Zip Code Advantage!

For the salsa: 

 $1.99 x 4 = $7.96

Used (4) $1 coupons 

= $3.96

Earned $5 from Ibotta 

Final Price: FREE + $1.04 MM!!!!

I did stop by two CVS and both stores had the Ferrero Chocolate bars BUT the first CVS had the candy bars locked up in an anti-theft case AND there was only one lady working the whole store.  This was the CVS in Lemon Grove. The candy bars are there, if you need them but I wasn't willing to wait all day for the cashier to find her customers and open the candy case so I went another CVS.

The second CVS only had two candy bars which are on sale for BOGO50% $4.99 + $2.50 = $7.49 and I got back $8 from Swagbucks making the candy bars free + $0.51 MM and thank goodness that Denise reminded us about those candy bars!
