I understand the urgency of the website updates‼️

I opened the CVS app and I was greeted with a popup of "What's New" and "Your virtual assistant".  In that moment, it dawned on me that all of the recent website up Vons, Ralphs, CVS, Walgreens, P&G Everyday Good, the Kellogg's/Kellnova website updates and a plethora of other websites have been pushing hard for the consumer to update various information, otherwise, we were threatened with non-access to our various accounts.

All the website updates are for the virtual assistant, otherwise known as AI (artificial intelligence).  The corporations want every scrap of our personal information to feed to AI and the sooner that they can get our information, the sooner they can layoff more workers and increase their profitability.

When we log into CVS, corporations want the AI to make recommendations, i.e.,  "Kimberly, you need to place an order for your birth control pills in 15 days, pick up little Johnny and Suzy's Halloween costume, the Halloween decorations and candy in 30 days, Dayquil and NyQuil for the upcoming flu season.  Your husband Bob's favorite beer will be on sale on Sunday, etc., etc., etc.

What the corporations haven't figured out how to handle the people who've lost their jobs, therefore, they have no discretionary funds for frivolous spending.

Anyways, the urgency for the website updates is to populate datapoints for the AI to extract and use on us.

To be quite honest with you, the corporations do not want to see you in person.  They'd rather you order whatever it is that you want or need and then they'll ship it to you and then they don't have to worry about people stealing from their stores.

All these places will be doing delivery.  This is why they've been pushing for driverless cars and trucks. Within 10 years, you won't remember this life of going to the grocery store, rebate apps, children in schools. By 2035, it's going to be a whole new world.
