I honestly get tired of explaining to friends and family how couponing and using rebate apps make money. It was Benjamin Franklin that said, "A penny saved, is a penny earned." and so every time we save a dollar buying shampoo, buying mayonnaise, buying $2.16 MM Hillshire Farm Lunch Meat, we are basically leaving our money in the bank and having the ability to consume the things that we want or need without paying for them.
Each and every time, we went to Vons/Albertsons on $5 Fridays and bought the California Pizza Kitchen pizza for $5 and submitted our receipt $2.60 reimbursement from Fetch Rewards, we literally left $2.60 for each pizza in our bank account. Again, not only are we saving that $2.60 but we are also consuming the pizza which is normally sold at Vons for $9.99.
It's not just the fact that we are saving the $2.60 for our bank account but we are also consuming the said item so basically it's a double dip in savings.
If you are using your PayPal Debit Card or gift cards, you should almost never have to touch the money in your bank account to do deals.
We can throw together a Football Watch Party for darn there free because we can pull out of our arsenal, the $17 MM Skyy Vodka, FREE+MM Heineken 12pk & Stella Artois 12kpk, Cheez-It's for $0.12 each, and the TEN FREE cans of Blue Diamond Almonds.
Every time, that you don't have to use the money in your banking account to buy food and other essentials like toothpaste, you have not only saved the money by not spending it but you also earn it.
Each time that you buy the cheap frozen pizza and eat it at home instead of going to Pizza Hut or your local Mom & Pop pizza place and spending $30 or $40, you've earn that money saved. The $40 can go towards your next car, a down payment on a home, your new computer, a college fund for your kids or grandkids, a trip to Disney, a trip to Europe, etc.
We are literally living our best lives and your destiny is in your hands but you will have to make some sacrifices by doing some couponing and rebate deals!
