I knew that there was going to be a lot of San Diegans going to the No Kings protests because people here are livid about the ICE agents running through the streets, pushing people around and we know that whatever is happening in Los Angeles that it can happen here. Plus, we have a lot people in San Diego that are originally from Los Angeles and so those people can't go home to L.A. because of all of the drama there. People are coaching other people on what to say to ICE agents if they approach you when they come onboard a public bus. Everybody's lives, not just the undocumented, are being turned upside down with these ICE raids. Our communities are all being traumatized by all this ICE stuff and I knew that San Diegans was going to show up at the No Kings protests. The DC Parks department estimates about 50K people attended Trump’s Soviet style birthday parade.
