Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive - May 10, 2025

There is always an opportunity to be low vibrational and complain about everything under the sun or we can take the high road and look for opportunities to do great things for humanity without praise or thanks. Our postal service employees are some of the best of the best, they go out of their way to help, they always offer recommendations for problems and they always greet us with a smile.

Each year, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries. Since launching in 1993, the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has grown into the nation’s largest one-day food drive, helping to fill the shelves of food banks in cities and towns throughout the United States.

Simply leave your donation of non-perishable food in a bag near your mailbox on the second Saturday in May (05/10/2025), and your letter carrier will do the rest.

If you picked up the Planters Peanuts 52 oz at Smart & Final for $0.99 it's a great donation item.  Go through your kitchen cabinets and stockpile to see if you have non-perishables foods to donate.
