Trump Tariffs LIVE: White House Says 104% Tariffs Imposed on China, Effective From April 9 | N18G

Whelp, we won't be able to afford to buy products from China. Be it an end item like a television or computer or the components like a light bulb that goes into a lamp.  For example, if you need a starter for your car, you won't be able to afford to buy starter with 104% tariffs. The Chinese have got a billion people to feed and so, now they will have to go other countries for rice, corn, cotton, soybeans, etc. that our farmers have been selling to them.  You see how these tariffs have a crippling effect?  Large and small businesses will close and more people will be out of jobs.  

The tariffs go into effect April 9th at midnight.
