GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!! HELLO, CHERYL!!!
Yesterday, we had two fires breakout near the US/Mexico border off the 905 freeway. I don't know the official name of that border crossing because I normally go through the San Ysidro border crossing. The city has evacuated some folks and they have them shelters.
All this week, everyone has been talking about the price of eggs on social media and on Friday, I used my last egg so I went online to check the prices of a dozen eggs at Walmart, Ralphs and Vons and the folks on social media was right...the eggs are sky high. The egg prices shown above is at the Smart & Final but the last time that I bought a dozen eggs at Smart & Final, they were $2.99...now, they are $8.97. The price of eggs has gone up due to the bird flu. All federal health agencies are prohibited from communicating with the public. It looks we may not want to eat eggs or chicken? Now, I wish that I had of stocked up on the instant oatmeal from a couple weeks ago at Vons.
There will be a Save coupon insert in the Sunday newspapers. It’s Saturday and we've had a long exhausting week …relax and enjoy your weekend! On Sundays, I take the day off from blogging.
