GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!! HELLO, CHERYL!!!

OMG, it's the last day of the month and then we are into December!  This phone business just about killed me off BUT I am so grateful that we didn't have to buy another phone because a couple of years ago, my brother had given us this brand new unlocked iPhone SE 2022 as a back up phone.  You have to remember it was just two years ago that we were coming out of the lockdowns, vaccinations, car shortages and all kinds of craziness and so my brother sent us an extra phone for just in case purposes...and that phone came in handy on Tuesday!  However, the T-Mobile employee must have been new or something because he didn't transfer most of the information from my old phone to the new phone including my banking, my apps, my medical and I literally have had to download each an every app, log in with username and password on everything.  Again, I am blessed so I shouldn't be complaining.

One thing that I learned from my brother is to always buy your smartphone unlocked because it gives you the flexibility to change phone carriers without penalties.  Also, we just pay for phones, we don't do a payment plan because you always end up paying more for the phone then necessary.  Keep in mind, when we do buy a phone, it's typically not the latest and greatest phone, it's usually a couple years old.

Is it me or was all of the Black Friday deals trash, this year?  Even Bath & Body Works didn't have anything.

This is pretty amazing as we have not seen a P & G coupon insert in long time there will be a P & G coupon insert in the Sunday newspapers.  If you are in California, you may want to go to the Dollar Tree today, Saturday, to see if they sell the Sunday newspaper at your store and look through the paper before you buy to ensure that it has the P & G insert.  I think that Dollar Tree still charges $1.25 for the Sunday newspapers.

On Monday, someone ran into the back of my car (no one was hurt) and on Tuesday, my phone completely died.  While I waiting, as they fiddled around with my phone, I heard a young lady and her mother or grandmother as the T-Mobile employee was explaining that their monthly bill would be $75 per month and the young lady wasn't happy about the $75 she was quoted.  I am so thankful and grateful that what occurred on Monday and Tuesday did not set back.

I will not be blogging today so I can enjoy spending time with my family.

Which major pharmacies are open on Thanksgiving?

 

Up until, this year, my San Diego neighborhood' CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens stores, were open 24/7/365.  However, Rite Aid and Walgreens will closed on Thanksgiving.  CVS will be open but the pharmacy will only be open 12 noon to like 8 p.m.  It's the first time ever since CVS came to my neighborhood that the CVS pharmacy hasn't been opened 24/7.  

Call your stores to see if they will be open on Thanksgiving day!

Thanks goodness that Nick left the comment below because when I finished my bonuses over the weekend, I quickly withdrew my money. However, I forgot to submit one receipt so I still have $1 in my Ibotta account!  It seems that Ibotta has this propensity that once the Thanksgiving bonuses are over, they want to investigate and audit your account for any irregularities.

I would highly recommend that once you reach $20 to withdraw your money.

Heads up (and not good news): Wifey’s brother Mick (always fun at holiday parties when we can’t tell with all the noise going on if someone is saying “Nick” or “Mick”) just got a slew of Ibotta reversals. It was from items purchased mostly at Ralph's where there was the disclaimer about the offer not being valid if a coupon was used but Ibotta paid it anyway. They went back quite a ways, Mick said in a text he could barely scroll that far back in his history to see what they were even talking about. 

So now Mick’s account has been sitting at zero, with everything since Saturday going straight to pending. He said he is more than due in pending what the reversals total, but it never shows anything ever being added. 

Nothing personal in business. But just be ready, the Ibotta is watching.
