  1. This product works! But you need to understand exactly what it is: it’s basically a bright blue night light that has a removable adhesive card that attaches adjacent to it. The flies are attracted to the light and end up getting stuck.

At some point (and especially if you use it in the kitchen) you’re going to get tired of seeing a bunch of dead flies. And that’s where it can get expensive, because you’ll then need to buy refills of that sticky card.

Seems to me that’s the plan, as it is with many other products that require refills. They lure you in the door with a relatively cheap or free starter unit but then “get you” on the refills.

But, free is free. Absolutely grab one now since it’s summer which is full of flies. And then worry about purchasing refills later.

  2. Availability note: If you’ve already used your VONS digital coupon then try Walgreens or Target. At either of those you’ll at least get the fly trap light for free (just pay the tax) or even make a few dollars based on your digital offers.

  3. These are very difficult to find in San Diego. None of my 3 local Vons have them, at all. I have seen them at Pavillions.

    1. Vons' inventory is off for this product bc the 3 stores in my area (30th St, Adams Ave and Murphy Canyon is 4 miles away) none of the 3 stores had them which I found very odd bc normally the app let's you know it's not in store.

  4. Just bought another Stem light at Target.

    OK, flies, GAME ON! 😆

It rang up incorrectly at $22.49. I showed the self checkout attendant that it was going for $17.79 online and he happily adjusted the price.

I also bought a Stur with electrolytes which was priced at $3.99.

$10 Circle applied to the Stem light, no discount on Stur this time but well worth about 50 cents to me after Ibotta as a water enhancer.

The total for both items with tax was $13.55 and Ibotta paid back $13.69.

    1. I'll have to check Target tomorrow. My nearest Target is a Neighborhood store or whatever they call it but they are out of stock there so I'll have to the Target down the hill where they don't have self checkout anymore.😩
