I remember that it was just six months ago that Walgreens & Walmart was telling the media and financial markets that the reason they were raising their prices, closing self checkout registers and closing stores was because of the rampant shoplifting. How interesting that now that the consumers have ran out of money because corporations were keeping their prices as high they could and for as long as they could to keep profits high...the average American can no longer afford to make frivolous purchases.
Folks, we've hit the wall and I'd say we are in a recession.
