I am still in a snit that the Game On promotion is quite a bit different in Northern California than in Southern California and we really got the very short end of the stick in SoCal. In NorCal, you buy one participating product get one point or some of the participating products are worth double points and after you accumulate 5 points, you redeem for a $4 off coupon.
The Game On promotion in SoCal is complete and utter trash because we have to buy 3 participating products for a chance to win an Instant Win prize and earn 3x points on the participating products.
I thought that the points that I'd earned in NorCal would transfer to SoCal but that's not the case because the NorCal Game On promotion actually specifies by store where you can redeem those coupons.
I had accumulated $20 in digital coupons and my family can use the coupons the next time they go into Safeway.
Yesterday, we did use our rewards for Signature Select Refresh bottle water 24pk that was on sales for 2/$5 and we just paid the CRV. I am very grateful that we have the rewards points sitting in our accounts waiting to be used!
I also used the $5 off coupon, that we get each month, from the Fresh Pass on the most recent Inflation Buster promotion for the Bumble Bee Tuna and the Rockstar Drinks...as I was explaining to my brothers, "We don't pay for stuff like that"🤣🤣🤣
Although, there was great sorrow and grief during my visit to Sacramento for my nephew's passing, there was still much laugher. During the funeral service, the pastor says what he says, there the singing, there's the video of my nephew's life, there's a poetry reading and then I was the first person from my family to speak about my nephew and I swear, as I walked to the podium, it was so quiet, I thought I could hear a pin drop. My brother had already asked me, the night before, what I was going to say at the service and I told him that I would recount some of my favorite stories about Marcus and my stories resonated with friends and family.
Afterwards, as I sat back down, my brother says to me "I never knew that you are such a elegant, funny and powerful public speaker."
