When I first arrive in Sacramento, last Thursday, the heat was so disrespectful and oppressive, I was ready to jump back on a plane and come back home...but then there was the nagging hurricane...and my family needed my help and support. The new Safeway is actually within walking distance but it's too darn hot for me to walk over there.
Anyways, we didn't used to have to contact Ibotta when we traveled outside of our county but I found that last year (2022) and this year, I had to reach out to Ibotta by submitting aTrouble Ticket saying that I am no longer in San Diego because I am visiting family in Sacramento, California. I believe Ibotta has some sort of GPS software built into their rebate software that does not work properly, therefore, if you are traveling and you may redeem a rebate or two, make sure to reach out to Ibotta and let them know that you are traveling and what city/state you are in so they can go in and manually update the stores in the Ibotta app.
As you see by my three digital referral code "UAA" that I have been using Ibotta for a very long time because you will see that others will have 5 or 6 digit referral codes which means that they are newer to Ibotta.
