This isn't really a "Inbox Goodie" as I did not receive an email from PayPal saying that I had received money in my PayPal account but none the less, I was checking my PayPal account when I saw that $7.08 was deposited into my account from the National Grid Settlement...and it's the second time that I've received payment from them. Last year, I received $50.90.
A few years ago, some company was calling day and night saying that I owed for an electric bill in Los Angeles, I tried telling them that I don't live in Los Angeles, I don't have a residence in Los Angeles and please stop calling me. Of course, they didn't listen and I eventually, checked my credit report and sure enough some company said I owed like a $1,000 for electric...and of course, I disputed the claim and I had to dispute about three times because what happens when debt collection agencies is that when a claim is disputed and they do not have the original documents, they sell the "debt" to another companies and they start calling a harassing you UNTIL you file dispute with the credit agencies.
If you have a poor credit score, get your credit report from the three companies and disputed all negative entries on your report. I actually learned this from our HR department when all of our information was hacked and they gave us free credit monitoring services...basically, for life!π€£
