I am telling you that the month of October flew by because this is the very last Saturday in October. The cooler weather it here especially in the mornings and late evenings and we have forecasts of rain, I think on Wednesday and Thursday. I think I am going to make chili on Thursday which means that I'll need to pick up the pre-diced onions and pre-diced bell peppers at Vons. I love throwing the cooked ground beef, diced vegetables, a couple of cans of beans, canned tomato sauce, a can of Rotel original, a chili pack into a crockpot and let it cook for an hour. Of course, I do season to taste. I typically like to add a diced jalapeΓ±o and Serrano pepper (without the seeds).
Do not forget to stop by Ralphs or Food 4 Less to pick up the $0.99 napkins and they will be great for your Thanksgiving dinner table or side table or during football watching. Yes, inflation is high but we still want a sense of normalcy and we can have that but we must work for it. I love the Vanity Faire napkins but the Kroger Everyday napkins will work for us.
Also, speaking of football, don't forget to clip the $2.97 Signature Select Pizza and grab a couple for football night instead of paying $20 or $30 for pizza from your favorite pizza establishment.
There will be a P&G, Smart Source and Save coupon inserts in the newspapers or depending upon where you live, it may be delivered to your mailbox or out in your drive way or lawn.
If you didn’t stop by CVS, this week, then go to your CVS account and print or send to card your CVS coupons.
It’s Saturday …enjoy your day! On Sundays, I am taking the day off from blogging.
Ms. B- I have used Vanity Fair napkins for many years, how would you rate the Kroger napkins? Are they only one layer?
ReplyDeleteIf my memory serves me correctly, there is no comparison between the Vanity Fair and the Kroger napkins, the Kroger are thin. Remember the Mardi Gras napkins are thin too. If you are entertaining on a tight budget, the Kroger napkins will do.
