On Wednesday, I went to Trader Joe's in Hillcrest for the Heavy Cream which is the only store in the city of San Diego that sells Heavy Cream (I'm talking Heavy Whipping Cream) and I went to this particular store because it's literally right next door to Ralphs. As I was going through, Ralphs Self Check Out, I found a receipt and I grabbed it, hoping that I'd be able to submit the receipt to Fetch Rewards for some points. To my surprise, someone had purchased a 80/20 ground beef for $10.99 which was perfect for me to submit the receipt for the $2/$10 Fresh Beef Checkout offer.
Always, always be on the look out for store receipts because people are still out in these streets paying full price for groceries and throwing away their receipts.
Plus, there could be an Ibotta, Shopkick, Swagbucks or a coupons.com app offer on one of the receipts.
Now, my receipt submission didn't go exactly smoothly because the CO51 software said that it couldn't see the one item on the receipt so I had to circle the beef on the receipt to get the $2 credit late Thursday but all well worth it.
