On Saturday, Ibotta had taken a hard stance on using coupons with rebates and they were doing all kinds of denying rebates, over the weekend. I had read they were going back earlier, in the week, and snatching back rebates but the Coupon Community was having none of it!
People was on edge and I saw a tsunami of people pull out their money on the Ibotta app and many people cussed out Ibotta and deactivated their accounts. I took my money out of my account.
You have these people who love to knock out 15 rebates on one Walmart shopping trip and because they had used one or two coupons, Walmart had denied their submission of entire receipt.
Anyways, Ibotta has had a chance to reflect and they have updated their response to the Can I use coupons or other promotions with Ibotta offers:
