On Friday, I went to Ralphs and I got the Vital Farms Butter 8 oz for $0.99 after the $1 Ibotta and $1 Merryfield rebates. I needed the 1,000 points from Merryfield to be able to grab a $10 gift card.
My plan was to request a $10 Amazon gift card but to my surprise, I can only request an Amazon gift card if I've accumulated 20,000 points. When did this change take place?
Thankfully, Sephora had just sent me a 20% coupon code and I decided to request a $10 Sephora gift card.
Unfortunately, as soon as I selected the Sephora gift card my request went into a pending status on the app and immediately, I received an email from Merryfield titled: Reward Review [Request Received]
The email in short: Thanks for using Merryfield! We've got your message, and our team will get on it as soon as possible. Just as a heads-up, we typically reply within 72 business hours.
You cannot make anything like this up.
I suspect that Merryfield maybe getting ready for the chopping block. They went from a $3 gift card to a $5 gift card to $10 gift card threshold within I think about 24 months.
I am very grateful that I will be able to get my $10 Sephora gift card and I will probably cancel my account with them. No harm, no foul.
My 10 ulta took 7 days to clear they replied they had technical issues just an FYI.. hope this helps
ReplyDeleteMel, OMG, that is terrible that it's taking 7 days to get the gift cards...it's so disappointing bc we've adhered and met their requirements for a gift card but they're not meeting their end and so for me, I'll be closing out my account. I am very grateful for the 3 gift cards that I have already received from Merryfield but sometimes you've got to walk away from what is not serving you to make room for other good things to come your way!
