  1. I want everyone to notice something that Ms. B. did which shows why she is such an incredibly valuable asset to the couponing community,

Wifey spotted the alignment of BOGO, Ibotta and Ralph’s CB for this deal. And trust me, she was giggling with happiness when she texted me that she had actually gotten a mention from Ms. B. on this site.

Ms. B. could have simply repeated the information Wifey provided. But, she took it a step farther which made it better!

Ms.B. was thinking, “Well, if you buy 2, get the items absolutely free AND make money, then what happens if you buy more?”.

So, Ms. B. carefully looked at all the promo details and improved on Wifey’s deal.

The scenario above correctly points out that, to max out this deal, don’t just buy 2, buy 4.

Technically, you could even buy a 5th (getting a free 6th) and still be within the Ibotta and CB limits of 5, so you’d still end up only paying 99 cents for those last 2. My view on that: if you love the product, go for it! 99 cents for 2 on a $2.99 item is a great deal any day of the week.

BUT, if you’re only interested in maximizing savings and keeping cash expenditures as low as possible, then just buy 4. And since I know that’s how Ms. B. evaluated all of this that’s why she laid out the exact scenario she did. Well done!

  2. The Evolution pricing changed as of Tues 7/30. They’re no longer $2.99 BOGO but are instead $2 each.

To make things simple, just look at it this way: Ralph’s has taken away this deal’s moneymaker potential BUT you still get the soda for free with $1 CB and $1 Ibotta.

In this scenario, it makes sense to go ahead and buy 5 to maximize the offer. And there are enough flavors so that each one can be different!
