I cannot believe that property management companies are asking for this kind of information without the potential renter even seeing the property before hand. Click the picture above and you'll be able to see the extent of what the property company is asking the applicant to provide.
Keep in mind, if the property company has some sort of data spill, they basically only need to provide credit monitoring services.
This is the reason why people are homeless or living in their cars or RV's because they cannot provide two statements from 401k plans and our brokerage account.
This should be against law.
