Plotting and Planning

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!! HI, CHERYL!!!!

Today, we've got great freebies at Vons and Albertsons stores and even if you already know that you will not eat the FREE Mac-A-Roni grab it anyways for your donation box or bag for your local Food Pantry.

Next Sunday (not tomorrow) is May 5th or Cinco de Mayo!🎉 I think most of us will be celebrating at home because it's too expensive to celebrate at our favorite restaurants.  A reader, Jean, was kind enough to find the sodas for $3.99 coupon (use zip 40505 at Kroger.com) and you can buy up to 5 packs in a single transaction.

The Sunday after Cinco de Mayo is Mother's Day (May 12th)...again, you may want stock up sodas for a Mother's Day celebration at home!

Speaking of Kroger, a video was posted online on how to change your zip code to get cheaper prices at Kroger stores.😡

Number Rule in Fight Club, "You do not talk about Fight Club!" meaning as couponers/deal seekers, we don't explicitly talk how we save money on some deals.  For example, I'd never put in a post title "Use Zip 40505 for $3.99 Sodas at Kroger".

We don't want Kroger cutting us off at the knees by being so audacious as to advertise that we are working around their system of charging Californians more than Texans for the exact same products so that we can enjoy a comfortable life.

YES, I've completed the $25 Make It Drizzle Ibotta Bonus!!!!!!🎉 Plus, it's being reported that there will be another $25 Ibotta Bonus Challenge in May.

I was pretty much done with the bonus on Tuesday because I had the $3/6 offer and my plan was to coast along until I found the perfect freebie or money maker to complete the challenge but on Wednesday, I found the perfect FREE+$1.56 MM Breyers Ice Cream deal at Vons. Keep in mind that I only need to redeem one rebate to get the $25 bonus.

One of the things that helped me the most to churn through redeeming 93 rebates was being able to redeem the same offers multiple times and having each redemption count towards the bonus.

For example, when I wrote the scenario for the FREE+ $3MM Rockstar/Snapple/Bubly Burst deal that at a minimum, you'd get 8 redemptions and if you'd add two more Snapple Elements, you'd have ten redemptions.

On Wednesday, I had gotten the FREE+$4.86 MM Schar Glutten Free Bread on my way back from my doctor's appointment.  The bread was supposed to be only a $1.25 money maker but since I was new to Social Nature, I really had no clue how it worked or what I was doing.  The bread at Walmart was $6.26 or  and I submitted my receipt and the sent me $1.88 and I'm thinking "Is this for 30% bonus for buying a Schar product?" I sent an inquiry to Customer Service and long story, short they told me to keep the money. On Friday, they sent me $7.99 for the bread.  Thank you, Social Nature! The bread did count towards the Challenge!

Finally, I went back to Brand Club because they've had a Facelift and I can make $1.65 per day by doing three $0.55 surveys per day and  think the surveys take about 30 seconds since they ask the same questions and you select A, B, C or D.  I used the Rockstar money makers to help absorb any out of pocket like I bought 4 Snapple Sun and a Snapple Earth on one receipt. I then bought 2 Rockstar, Snapple Air, Snapple Fire and the Bubly on another receipt.

Thankfully, the Ibotta software gave me credit for 5 Snapple Sun and credited me $5!!!  I had no plans to complete the $5/10 Weekend Warrior but when opportunity knocks and I'm getting free drinks and they are paying me to take the drinks out of the store...I had to submit my receipt!

As a side note, I had purchased bread along with the drinks and then on Friday a $0.05 any Brand Bread and a $0.05 any Brand Juice so I resubmitted my Ralphs receipt for the bread and I got credit for the bread and juice!

There will not be a coupon inserts in the newspapers on Sunday.

It’s Saturday …enjoy your day! On Sundays, I take the day off from blogging.
