{UPDATE}CVS: Carepass is now called extracare plus

{UPDATE} The monthly fee is $5 NOT $10 as previously stated (Thanks, Growly)!

I don't know why these companies keep doing these name changes to us but I received an email, this morning, basically saying the Carepass is now called extracare plus.  The $5 monthly fee is still required.  You know that CVS spent a lot of time, money and resources to align their strategies at their headquarters for this nonsense.

This is why we didn't get any Black Friday goodies because they were working on the ExtraCare Plus. I kid, I kid.🤣

  1. It's a $5 monthly fee, and you get a $10 reward every month.

  3. The CarePass card has been around for several years...you pay $48 at once (or $5 a month, which is $60) and what's really been nice has been the benefit of free shipping on most items that I've ordered. Now, with this new (improved!?!) ExtraCare Plus, you must have at least a $10 purchase to get the free shipping. So there goes that perk. And if you decide to pick it up in the store, a lot of times the store closest to you doesn't have the item in stock (that's why I was happy about the free shipping). And, get this...now they're charging a 'bag fee' when you order online and pick up at the store. What else.
