RUNNNNNNNN to Rite Aid IF your store is Closing🏃🏽‍♀️🔥

 

A reader, Tammy, says the following:

Ruuuuunnnnnnn to Rite Aid! Caveat: run to the closest one that is closing in 2 weeks. I went to my closest RA 2 days ago and everything was normal. Went back tonight and entire shelves were wiped cleaned. Asked my favorite manager what was going on and she said they are shutting the store in 2 weeks. Everything was on sale but some departments had spectacular savings.
Food (not snacks), all frozen, all dental, diapers and wipes, all pet stuff, all Paper supplies and all household cleaning, incontinence, Foot care, were 50% off regular retail. Even better, were the "as seen on TV" and Stationary was 75% off. Not everything was a great deal even at 50% off but there is a lot to be had.

Tonight I got:
1. Finish Quantum dishwashing tablets $9.99 regular. Rang up $4.99 sale. Clipped a $1DQ and then submitted to IB for $2.50. Total oop = $1.50.
2. Blue Buffalo dog treats $6.79 regular, $3.40 sale. Clipped $1DQ for a total of $2.40. Excellent price.
3. Some dog toys
4. Vortex XL Air Fryer rang up $17.79 (checked and it sells for $70 at Target). Undecided what to do with it but I was really nervous about all the RA BC I was holding so bought it and may just resell it. Will likely make a few bucks on the resale and cashed out BC
5. Colgate TB on sale for $3.24 each. Buy 2 for $6.49 submit to Shopmium for $4 back plus get $4BC for buying 2 for a little MM
6. Colgate TP on sale for $3.34 each. Buy 2 for $6.69 submit to Shopmium for $4 back plus get $4BC for buying 2.

I had a $11/50 which expired yesterday but sailed through so it was an even better deal for me.

Manager said it there may be more savings as it gets closer to close but there were a lot of people in the store buying so will likely be slim pickingsby next week.

Other notable items: Thrifty Ice Cream was regular $5.99 ringing up for $3. And Magnum Ice Cream was $5.99 and there is also $1IB for total of $2 a box. Diapers also may be a good deal with all the IB savings.

Wasn't planning on spending as much time in the store as I did and tried to match up IB and Shopmium but may go back tomorrow after doing more match ups. The grocery isle was very decent and there are some great coffee deals to be had which I need to match.
