👀 Kroger Ad 📰 EARLY Preview (10/4-10/10) by Kroger Krazy

Kroger Krazy has posted the early preview of the Kroger Weekly ad for 10/4-10/10 and there will be a new Buy 3 or more, Save $2 each Kroger Mega Sale starting on Wednesday.

The early preview of the Kroger ad gives us an idea, if we should be buying something now or wait until the upcoming ad.

Check your Clearance Section/Aisles

When you go into the stores make sure to check for the clearance section/aisle because you never know what golden treasures that you will find! While I was in Sacramento, Target had the Off! products on like 90% off clearance and I submitted for Ibotta and the Amigos!

I was in Ralphs and they had the Children's Astepro on clearance for $4.93 and of course, I submitted for the two $5 Amigos. I was hoping that there was a $5 Ibotta offer but sadly there was none.  I actually used the $10 store credit to pay.

Plotting and Planning

It is the very last day of the month and make sure to request your funds/gift cards from the rebate apps!  Thank you to the individual who used my referral link to sign up for an Ibotta account and the fall is really the perfect time to sign up especially due the upcoming holiday season!!!

I am waving at our friend, Cheryl, and she is still with us!!!!!

I also want thank everyone that takes time to leave comments and let's us know money saving deals!!!

I did purchase the Kraft Mac & Cheese Black Panther and there was a weird Ibotta glitch because when I submitted my receipt, the Ibotta software picked up a $0.30 Kraft mac & cheese rebate but didn't pick up the $0.50 Kraft Mac & Cheese Black Panther so I had to manually add the $0.50 and it went into Pending status.

I checked to see if I'd gotten $0.20 Cash Back credit and the offer is gone from account and I should get the credit within week

If you don't get the credit within a week, contact Customer Service because Sometimes It Pays to Contact Customer Service.  However, if you ≈

Check the Vons ad for the cheap Jennie-O ground turkey $0.96/lb, Bar-S hotdogs $0.97 and Buddig lunchmeat $0.47.  I love me a good turkey sandwich for lunch!

There will be a Smart Source and Save coupon inserts in the newspapers or depending upon where you live, it may be delivered to your mailbox or out in your drive way or lawn.

It’s Saturday …enjoy your day! On Sundays, I take the day off from blogging.

Submit your receipt to Fetch for the Magnum Ice Cream Bars!!!

If you are doing the Magnum Ice Cream bar deal at Ralphs/Kroger then make sure to submit your receipt to Fetch Rewards because you may have the 2,000/2 ($2/2) Magnum Ice Cream bar offer!!!

Thanks, Denise!

Sometimes it Pays to Contact Customer Service

After I came back to San Diego, I did the Progresso deal at Ralphs and I was supposed to get back $1/3 Ralphs Cash Back for the soup. and for whatever reason, I never got the $1 credit for the soup.  I always Kroger Customer Service Chat in the evenings to let them know that I still had not received the $1 credit for the soup.  As you see in my picture above that the kind representative credited me with $10 to my account!!!!!!!!

Obviously, I am over the moon for the $10 credit to my account!

Always reach out to customer service and inform them that there is a problem and let them determine a solution.  I did let the representative know that I'd bought 10 cans of soup and the representative determine that $10 credit to my account was appropriate!

I really do not write these types of posts to brag because to be honest, I would have really been happy to be credited with the $1 that I was owed but I wanted to point out that when we face disappointment instead of getting upset or angry to make a call to Customer Service for an assist.

Food 4 Less has the Progresso Soup for 4/$5

A reader, Unknown, let us know that Food 4 Less has the Progresso Soup on sale for 4/$5.

Keep in mind that Food 4 Less nor Albertsons or Vons stores have catalina machines so you will miss out on the $2 catalina coupon.

However, Food 4 Less is a participating store listed for the Progresso Soup Rebate.

Thanks, Unknown!

The Safeway Codes?

For some ungodly reason, I am unable to respond in the comments section, therefore, I am making a quick post.

A reader, NJ, asked the following:

Does anyone know what the "codes" are for that are mentioned on SD- Safeway? Have gone back thru numerous posts and can't find the original. Am wondering if they might (hopefully) be those wonderful generic SS, O, ON etc $1 codes (from several yrs past)? Didnt get a monopoly fp this year and don't get the $1 weekly frozen, bakery, yogart etc Q's either...so anything else would be nice.

1. The codes mentioned on Slick Deals are from some sort of booklet that I think is only mailed to some people's home. The codes only work at Safeway stores in Northern California.

2. $1 off Zip Code Advantage coupon is still working in at the Safeway stores in Northern California (NorCal)  and I saw them on my brother's Safeway app.  I've had the Safeway app for about 4 years but the $1 off coupons did not appear in my Safeway account nor on the Safeway app for me...and I was in Sacramento for three weeks.

The Game On Perks game in NorCal, in the terms & conditions, they actually list by store (pages 7-13) where you can redeem your Game On rewards which is wild to me.

Kroger is being a bit shiesty

On Monday, I saw that Ralphs was going to have the Progresso Soup on sale for 3/$4 or $1.33 each and all of the other Kroger stores across the United States will have the Progresso Soup on sale for 4/$5 or $1.25 each.

Price matters because if you plan to do the Progresso Soup deal on Monday, 9/2, and you want to maximize the deal, you'll want to buy 10.  So, in California, the purchase of ten will cost you $13.30 vice $10 at any Kroger store outside of California which means that anyone and all those outside of California will make $3.30 more on the Progresso deal.

Kroger is also doing something weird with the darn eggs!  Ralphs has the 18ct Kroger Eggs are on sale in California for a Whopping $2.99, whereas, most but not all of the Kroger stores have the 18ct Kroger Eggs on sale for $0.99.  Not surprising but you are probably saying "So, what?"

Last night, I did a google search for "How many states have the cafe-free egg law?"  As you can see in the picture above, there are 9 states that have the law - California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington state.

HOWEVER, out of the 9 states, California is the only state where the eggs actually state "Cage Free" in the description on the Ralph website, whereas,  the other Kroger stores in the cage-free eggs states does not have the description on their Kroger eggs and most but not show the 18 ct Kroger eggs on sale for $0.99.

It took me a long time to do this research because like for example, I don't know which Kroger store is in Colorado.

Did you know that there are three different Kroger stores in Oregon?  In California, we have Ralphs, FoodCo, Food 4 Less Southern California and Food 4 Less Northern California...and I'm pretty sure the FoodCo in Southern California and FoodCo in Northern California are probably different like the Food 4 Less stores in SoCal and NorCal.

Kroger has been using the state of California as their piggy bank by raising the prices on things like the soup and the eggs.  Thank goodness, we can make modifications to even the playing field.
