BrickSeek has been around a long, long time and everyone is getting beat down by inflation. The media is telling us how inflation has hit 2 year low but it doesn't feel like it to me and I think most of us feel the same. At some point, you have to do things differently, in order, to survive.
BrickSeek describes itself as the internet's price checker because their website scrapes pricing data from an unknown source and we'd go there an query their (database) website to find pricing data at Walmart, Target, Home Depots, etc. and in the past, they had never required us to sign up on their website nor charge a fee for their services.
However, they may have hit a wall, like I did and their ISP (internet service provider) may have raised their prices, one time too many, and they've decided to require a BrickSeek Membership Service to access their data, thereby, they will able to sell our information.
This is my assumption/opinion that they will be selling our data, they have not said anything on their website about the new membership requirement.
I won't be signing up for the membership because I want to cut expenses.
Anyways, this is just heads up that you'll need to sign up for a BrickSeek membership to access their search data.
