This is why I always say to chase the deals not the bonuses. The bonuses are a gimmick to entice you to redeem more rebates that you don't need or want. When you chase just the deals and you happen to complete a bonuses then the bonus is just FREE money. In my opinion, any bonus requiring more than 10 rebate redemptions is a no go for me.

Speaking of Ibotta tomfoolery and bonuses, this is the lastest crap they told me. "Additionally, manual cash back applied won’t count toward bonuses in progress.The good news is, any bonuses which should have been completed have also been added to your earnings." So, if you're not credited on the initial review and have to contact customer service to get your rebate it won't count towards the bonus anymore, unless it's the LAST item you needed to complete the bonus, in which case they will manually credit you the bonus amount. Because that makes so much sense. 🙄
