Hold onto your Ibotta wigs

Yesterday, I did the Air Wick Fall Collection deal just as described in the post and I received the following email:

We looked at your receipt and couldn't verify your recent purchase. This may be because the products you purchased on this receipt do not match our offer criteria or because coupons or promotions were applied prior to redemption. Please review the offer details, including variety and size, to make sure your product qualifies.

Then I watched Ohio Valley Couponer's video saying that on the Ibotta blog (Profile>Ibotta Blog), Ibotta makes it very clear that you will not get a credit for an offer if you use a coupon.

We don't know if you'll be able to use store rewards like Extra Bucks, Bonus Cash, Register Rewards or Walgreens and still be able to get credit from Ibotta.

Please, watch the Ohio Valley Couponer's video he into more details.

Am I going to quit Ibotta?  Nope but I will continue to stack offers but I am grateful that was able to use a coupon earlier, this week, and get the Ibotta credit before ibotta went rogue.

Thank goodness, earlier, this week, I found six dollars on ground and Swagbucks gave me two extra dollars on a deal.

Ibotta didn't pay the $3 for the Air Wick but God gave me $8 so I'm still good!

Don't panic, we just have to move differently!  I have been with Ibotta since 2012 and trust and believe that the Coupon Community will find their loopholes.

Bottomline you cannot use a coupon with an Ibotta offer  because they will not pay you.

  1. my Airwick offers do not state no coupons so they must be testing it out on some accounts first

  2. I forgot to turn in my Breathe Right receipt on Wednesday. I turned it in today and they paid me
the $5 even though I had used the $1.75 off dq, a 6 off 30 cvs q, and some ECB's.
