A few thoughts about Befrugal

First of all, the folks over at Befrugal need to to go to Youtube and make a step-by-step video on how to check the status of our receipts because it's kinda hard trying to figure out the status of our receipt.

Befrugal should also say, on their homepage, that their Customer Service don't work weekends and holidays.

On Saturday and Sunday, I was trying to figure out the status of my Ralphs receipt, from Saturday, for the Cheap Farmer John Classic Bacon!  The thing is that the app only opens the door for the inquiry and it pops you into the internet browser for the rest of our inquiry.  With the other sister apps - Mypoints and Swagbucks - our interaction with the app is all on the app AND I believe that Customer Service does still work on the weekend but feel free to correct me if that is no longer true.

Anyways, below are some quick instructions for finding the status of your receipt.

1. On the homepage, click "Befrugal Rewards"

2. Go to the 3 dashes in the upper left corner and click "Rewards History". (You're in the browser)

3. Click "Receipt Scanning"

Since Sunday was a start of a new week and there was the new $1.60 Farmer John Premium Classic Bacon Checkout 51 (CO51) offer (thanks, Vintage!), I went to Food 4 Less (it's an affiliate of Kroger) and in my area, it's like a quarter of a mile from Ralphs and this Food 4 Less, in Mission Valley, has self checkout. I submitted my F4L receipt to CO51 first and once I was notified that my receipt had been approved, I then submitted my F4L receipt to Befrugal. As you see in the picture above, I am in Pending status. On Saturday, I'd bought 4 packs of bacon and this morning, I bought 2 packs of bacon...and again, both receipts - Ralphs and F4L are in Pending status.

I believe that both receipts will be approved since I've not seen any negative feedback on social media on the bacon deal.  HOWEVER, if you cannot afford to do the bacon deal because it'll put you in a financial constraint just don't deal because more deals will be coming because we are so close to the 4th of July.
