I knew that there was going to be a lot of San Diegans going to the No Kings protests because people here are livid about the ICE agents running through the streets, pushing people around and we know that whatever is happening in Los Angeles that it can happen here. Plus, we have a lot people in San Diego that are originally from Los Angeles and so those people can't go home to L.A. because of all of the drama there. People are coaching other people on what to say to ICE agents if they approach you when they come onboard a public bus. Everybody's lives, not just the undocumented, are being turned upside down with these ICE raids. Our communities are all being traumatized by all this ICE stuff and I knew that San Diegans was going to show up at the No Kings protests.The DC Parks department estimates about 50K people attended Trump’s Soviet style birthday parade.

It's right next to the trolley so people can take public transportation. Today, there will be lots and lots of protests all across the country so expect that there will be disruptions in traffic and I'd check on TikTok or sign up for https://nextdoor.com/news_feed/ I am not a big fan of Next Door because some of the snarky comments my neighbors say but there should be some info about the protests, traffic, street closures, etc.
There will not be a coupon insert in the Sunday newspapers. It's Saturday, enjoy your day On Sundays, I take the day off from blogging.
I am just not ready for the hot weather especially with humidity. Being from Sacramento, it definitely gets hot but it's dry heat and the buildings like grocery stores, Walgreens, etc. keep the air conditioning running during the summer heat.
Anyhoo, I hope that you got in on the Jarritos Soda for $0.47 which is an amazing price and you can put them to the side for your Juneteenth and/or 4th of July cookouts!!!
