I've eaten at the Breakfast Republic in my North Park neighborhood only once when my family was visiting. I'm not a big proponent of breakfast restaurant because let's face it...it's just breakfast - coffee, eggs, toast, hash brown, bacon or sausage and they're charing an arm & a leg.
When I was in high school, working in fast food, we had like a full shift, we had like 8 people working in the evenings plus an assistant manager and sometimes a manager, too. We had to clean the store from top to bottom, we cleaned the machinery, bathrooms, lobby, take out the trash and back then you had to have your hair pulled back into a tight bun so your hair would fall into someone's food. We were taught about cleanliness, washing your hands and wiping down everything like the tables and the counters...AND we had so much fund at work.
I just feel like these companies would rather had profits than pay for pest control and hiring a couple extra people to keep the place clean.
It's kinda ridiculous that three of their restaurants have been shutdown by the county for vermin infestation.🤢
