Former Professional Degrees

I am truly flabbergasted that millions of people in the U.S. who sweated blood, sweat and tears to finish college are basically being discarded because their degrees like engineers, nurses, social work, business, IT, etc. are no longer considered professional degrees.  Think about those college students that are supposed to graduate in May 2026, 2027 or 2028, they cannot change their degrees without incurring more debt.

It appears that only medical doctors and attorneys will be only career fields that are considered professional degrees.

I suspect that any job that AI can do in part or in totality, you will no longer be considered a professional.
