A couple of weeks ago, I watched a YouTube recommended video of two ladies going to lunch at a hotel restaurant and they were dressed beautifully. What the ladies were trying inspire is that you don't have to go out looking like a "hoochie mama" in short-shorts, stomach out and flashing your boobs to attract a man's attention but one of the ladies was carrying the Kate Spade Icon Small East-West Barrel Bag and I fell in love with that bag. Thankfully, someone in the comments identified the bag and I googled it.
The original price of the bag is $348 but the Kate Spade website had it on sale for $278 but I thought that price was too much because it's a small hand bag.
I then decided to check Amazon to see if they had the bag and sure enough, Amazon had the bag on sale for $208. I didn't really want to pay the $208 price but since I was using my Amazon gift card to pay, I grabbed it.
Almost for the very beginning, there was shipping problems and the seller kept shifting the shipping date but since I wasn't in a hurry for the bag, I was okay with. However, when I went to check on the status of the bag on Thursday, Amazon had completely refunded the money back onto my gift card. What was interesting is that they actually refunded me more than I paid for the bag. To me it looked like the person that did the accounting got confused because I'd added a $50 to my account and they gave me an extra $50. This is not even the best part.
I googled the purse again just to see if the price of the purse had gone down and Dillard's has the Kate Spade Icon Small East-West Barrel Bag on clearance for $121.20...and I cashed-in my PapPal points and I paid about $50 for the bag including tax and I essentially got the bag for free because of the previous accounting boo boo.
Sometimes, we are drawn to something and I don't even know why but I know that I was supposed to have that bag and I followed my intuition and ended up getting the bag for free after using my points! I probably haven't bought a purse in about three years.
